POSTPONEMENT OF KASNEB MAY 2020 EXAMINATIONS

As we continue to battle the Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19), kasneb wishes to communicate the following crucial information to all students and training institutions:

1. Following the presidential Directive issued on Sunday, 15 March 2020, Learning activities in all educational institutions were suspended with immediate effect . Consequently, universities and tertiary institutions (including those training kasneb courses) were ordered to close Friday, 20 March 2020.
2. Consequent to the presidential Directive, The Board of kasneb has taken the unpresented decision to postpone the May 2020 examinations. These examinations will now be conducted from Tuesday, 28 July 2020 to Thursday, 30 July 2020. This difficult Decision been taken having regard to the widespread disruption and the Concomitant anxiety that have been occasioned both the occurrence and the spread of COVID-19 globally. We, however, urge the candidates to continue preparing for these examinations with Zeal and focus that they have demonstrated before.
3. The deadline of registration and Booking of the July 2020 examinations has been extended to Friday, 29 May 2020
4. In order to assist kasneb students in training institutions (as well as those undertaking private studies) to keep up the momentum of learning and preparing for the examinations, kasneb has been encouraging the students to make use of the Vast e-resources (e-books, e-journals and Past examination question Papers) that have been made available free of charge. All eligible students are encouraged to create their account visiting http://kasneb.remotexs.co. Once these accounts are approved, they will get a notification through their e-mail addresses. Thereafter, they will be able to access the e-resources visiting http://library.kasneb.or.ke. In case of any query or request for support, they should Contact library@kasneb.or.ke.

Further to the above changes, kasneb will continue to monitor the situation with regard to COVID-19 and will update students, training institutions and other stakeholders as appropriate.
